It was a time when harsh chemicals were common in cleaning products, and the negative effects of those chemicals weren’t well known. Vlahakis understood the dangers traditional products posed. He innovated safer formulas for commercial and household cleaners long before being “green” was popular. Today, ECOS laundry detergent and cleaners are sold in over 60 countries at club stores, grocery retailers, natural food stores, and ecos.com
